Bags, Boomerangs and Baskets
A collection of artifacts showing the adaptation of materials used from the 19th century through to the present day. From traditional boomerangs, dilly bags and fishing rods through to sugar bags and firearms; the Yugambeh people have used new materials to produce every items for the changing lifestyle.
Artifacts
Archaeologists, local residents and enthusiasts have gathered more than 15000 artifacts from across the Yugambeh region. Selected items are on display at the Yugambeh Museum, Language and Heritage Research Centre.
