Recent legislation, namely the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003 and the Duty of Care Guidelines has required new services to be developed for protection of cultural heritage.

Our organisation is recognized by government as an Aboriginal Party in relation to the Act. As such we are authorized to undertake all aspects of work relating to protection of Aboriginal cultural heritage for the Yugambeh Region.

Our work is undertaken by professional staff and is designed to ensure the successful management of cultural heritage responsibilities in compliance with the Act.

We acknowledge the right of clients to develop projects that may impact on the Aboriginal cultural heritage of an area and we work collaboratively with them to achieve the best outcomes for protection of cultural heritage…

We offer the following services to developers and government agencies:

  • Cultural heritage surveys and assessments with written reports.
  • Cultural heritage workshops for project managers or site workers.
  • Cultural heritage management plans (CHMP’s).
