Join our community as we remember Indigenous men and women who have served in defence of our country. By special invitation of the Southport RSL, Yugambeh Museum welcomes you and your family to march with us under Indigenous flags.

Non Indigenous families are welcome.

Night Bird Dreaming - Join Karang as he takes you on a journey deep into the past, to discover the Yugambeh Night Bird Dreaming. This live-action traditional performance brings to life the story of the wise owl, Karang, and the sneaky night bird,  Jinir-Jinir (40 minutes, includes traditional story, song and dance activity)

Free Yugambeh Bummaleir (Screen Printing)

Aboriginal art is full of stories, symbols and meaning; a connection between past and future. Yugambeh Bummaleir is an exploration of culture, story telling, meaning and discovery, taking participants on an artistic and creative journey through the art of screen printing. Guests can bring their own item to screenprint, or the Yugambeh Museum will have bandanas available for purchase on the day at a cost of $5 each.
